Tastes of Tequesta Tour Stop # 14

Vulcano’s Italian Restaurant

The fourteenth stop on Mayor Abby Brennan’s Tastes of Tequesta Tour was Vulcano’s Italian Restaurant. Located at the southern tip of the Village Square plaza, this eatery has been serving classic Italian dinners and pizza to its loyal customers for over twenty-seven years. Jupiter Inlet Colony Mayor Dan Comerford and his wife Kathie joined Abby for dinner at this stop. The couple have dined at Vulcano’s at least once a month since moving to Jupiter Inlet Colony in 1999 and declare it to be their favorite local Italian restaurant.

Owners Chef Tony and Pam Bonventre have created a comfortable space that feels like you have been invited into their home for a family dinner. Pam greets guests at the door while Tony prepares every meal to order. Vulcano’s Italian Restaurant serves food prepared with recipes steeped in the history of the “Old Country.” Familiar favorites like eggplant rollatini, cheese ravioli, and fettucine alfredo are on the menu. Chef Tony’s favorite, Linguini Con Frutti Di Mare, and Vulcano’s signature Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Scarpariello and Snapper Livornese are among the specialties and a chalkboard lists the evening’s additions. Traditional and specialty pizzas and a children’s menu assure that there is something delectable for every member of the family.

After freshly baked bread was delivered to the table, Mayor Dan ordered his favorite “meatballs and spaghetti” and Kathie chose the veal parmigiana. Abby selected one of the evening’s special menu additions, lamb chops served over a bed of broccoli rabe. Salad and a side of spaghetti were also included with the specialty dinners. Numerous desserts are offered including homemade Crème Brulee and authentic Italian Cheesecake.

Pam and Tony invite families and friends to visit Vulcano’s Italian Restaurant and enjoy authentic Italian food and pizza. “Buon Appetito”
