Application to Serve on a Village Committee


There are vacancies (due to terms ending on May 13) for the following Boards and Committees:

Environmental Committee

  • Two Regular Members

Planning and Zoning

  • Regular Member
  • Three Alternate Members

General Employee Pension Board

  • Two Trustee Positions

Public Safety Pension Board

  • Two Trustee Positions

If you are interested in filling any of these positions, please submit the Boards and Committee Application by April 28, 2021.  All requests will be reviewed and considered by the Village Council during the May 13, 2021 Council Meeting.  

​Boards and Committees

The Village has four (5) active boards and committees, whose members are generally appointed by the Village Council (with a few exceptions). The boards and committees members are volunteers who have an interest in serving in a local governmental non-paid capacity for the betterment of their community.

The Boards are:

  • Environmental Advisory Committee
  • Community Center Advisory Committee
  • Planning and Zoning Board (and Local Planning Agency and One Cent Sales Tax Oversight)
  • General Employee Pension Board
  • Public Safety Pension Board
  • Environmental Advisory Committee 
Additional boards and committees can be established by the Village Council as the need arises.
