Code Enforcement Officer

The Village of Tequesta's Code Enforcement Unit falls under the Police Department and is headed by Code Enforcement Officer Joe Petrick.  Mr. Petrick is the duly authorized agent as outlined in the Village Code to ensure code compliane throughout the Village.

Special Master
According to Section 2-151 the Village Council appoints a Special Master (Magistrate) for a two year term.  The duties of the Special Master are to preside over code enforcement matters once a month.  All hearings of the Special Master are open to the public and minutes are maintained.
