The Palm Beach County Library System (PBCLS) is serving free nutritious lunches and snacks to children during the summer, in partnership with the School District of Palm Beach County.
This service will be available from May 30 through July 28, excluding holidays and weekends at all branch locations. All children ages 18 and younger are welcome.
According to the U. S. Department of Agriculture, “The Summer Food Service Program ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.”
Library Director Douglas Crane stated, “The PBCLS is proud to ensure that all county children are well-fed and well-read throughout the summer.”
