RE:    Water main, Shut Down!!!
Water Main Repair
 
Location: Carriage House condominium and several homes on Tequesta Drive and Riverside Drive.   Delivered door hangers to affected homes and condominiums. 

Dear Water Customer:

Due to the water line repair and service interruption in your area, it is recommended as a precautionary measure, affected residents boil their water for drinking, cooking, and all other internal uses.   Water should be brought to a boil for three (3) minutes for full effect. Icemakers should be turned off and all ice previously made should be discarded.

This procedure should be followed until you are notified that the boil order has been lifted.  The Palm Beach County Health Department requires two (2) consecutive days of negative test results, you will not hear from us for at least two (2) days.

We will deliver door notices lifting the boil order.  If you are still unsure of whether or not the order has been lifted, please call 768-0490.

Online Bill Pay

The Village of Tequesta has an Electronic Bill Pay systems for water utility bills. These systems provides residents and businesses with convenient and efficient means of paying their water bills automatically and electronically.

The online bill pay system allows residents to pay their current bill directly from the computer at any time convenient to them from the Village’s website. The Automated Debit program allows monthly payments to be automatically deducted from a designated account. Both options completely eliminate the hassles of managing monthly water payments. We encourage residents and businesses to utilize the new program by going to www.tequesta.org and clicking the “Resident Services > Pay Your Water Bill” link. The minimal transaction fees ($2.75 per transaction) charged to residents for using the web bill pay system are charged by the third party transaction processing vendor. We are proud to say the system is budget neutral by placing the decision to pay third party costs in the hands of the residents who utilize the system.
