Public comments is your opportunity to address the Village of Tequesta elected officials directly about issues that are important to you and your community. Whether you comment via the Public Comment section or speak on a specific agenda topic, your voice is important and will be heard. Speaker request forms will be accepted by the Village Clerk from the time the agenda is posted electronically online until the start of the Council Meeting.
*NOTE: This form is only for those who are attending a council meeting and who wish to make a public comment during a council meeting. Comments are not read into the record unless the person is in attendance at the meeting to make their public comment.
There is a 3-minute time limit for each citizen to speak. Anyone who wishes to speak shall be courteous and cordial. No disparaging remarks directed at any member of the Village Council or Village staff will be allowed.
When called by the Mayor, please approach the podium and state your name and address prior to beginning your comment. If you have written notes you wish to present to the Mayor and Council, please provide the Village Clerk for the official files.
