9th Annual Chili Cook-Off and Beer Tasting Event

Hosted by:  Tequesta Firefighters and Tequesta Brewing Company

November 9, 2019 ‐ 2PM–6PM

Paradise Park, Tequesta FL

The Tequesta Firefighters, in conjunction with the Tequesta Brewing Company, are holding the 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off on November 9, 2019 at Paradise Park in Tequesta from 2 pm to 6 pm.  There will be 20+ Fire/police/EMS and Military Departments competing against each other for the best chili, as well as live music, pipers, dancers, and lots of other fun activities and plenty of cold beer. We will honor the following Veterans on this on this day:  WWII, Korean, Vietnam War, wounded veterans and those whose loved ones never returned home. Last year the event rose over $52,000.

The money raised funds four great charities:

  1. Honor Flight, an organization that takes WWII veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial
  2. The Friends of Public Safety, a Tequesta non-profit to assist local law enforcement in need
  3. Renewal Coalition who provide retreats for our wounded Vets
  4. Operation 300 who offers Adventure camps to children whose parent was killed in action while in Iraq or Afghanistan
