8th Annual Chili Cook-Off and Beer Tasting Event

Hosted by:  Tequesta Firefighters and Tequesta Brewing Company

The Tequesta Firefighters, in conjunction with the Tequesta Brewing Company, are holding the 8th Annual Chili Cook-Off on November 10, 2018 at Paradise Park from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  There will be 20 plus Fire/Police/EMS and military departments competing against each other for the best chili. There will also be live music, pipers, dancers, and lots of other fun activities and, of course, plenty of cold beer. Event organizers will honor all Veterans on this day, but especially, our WWII and Korean War Vets, wounded Veterans, and those whose loved ones never returned home.

The 2017 event raised over $49,000.  The money raised is donated to several charities such as: SE Honor Flight, an organization that takes WWII veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial; Friends of Public Safety; The Renewal Coalition, this organization takes care of our wounded Vets; and Operation 300, an organization that takes kids whose dads were killed in action while in Iraq or Afghanistan to Adventure camps. These are honorable charities and local firefighters in Palm Beach and Martin Counties have chosen to support them.
