Mission Statement
To serve the community in such a manner that will reflect good will and sound judgment, by ensuring the compliance of all codes and regulations as required by law and ordinances adopted by Council, retaining the confidence and respect of the public by maintaining consistency in the application of the law and applicable codes, and possessing the skills to interpret codes in order to maintain compliance and to achieve balance with unique situations, which may arise within the community.
Comprehensive Plan
The Village's Comprehensive Plan was last updated in 2017 and adopted by the Tequesta Village Council and State of Florida in 2018. Every seven years municipalities in Florida undergo the "Evaluation and Appraisal" process to determine whether or not they need to update their Comprehensive Plan. In January 2023, the Village provided notice to the State of Florida that it was not necessary to update the Village's Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan linked below is the latest version.
Affordable Housing Inventory List
Per F.S. 166.0451, Disposition of municipal property for affordable housing, the Village of Tequesta has no eligible land, therefore there is no inventory list.
